Abstract

The paper examines the diplomatic politics underlying the conflict mediation role played by Qatar and Egypt in the Israeli-Hamas war, and the ceasefire negotiation between 2023 and 2025. The article relies on secondary data. Findings from the study reveals how the cooperation between the two mediators improved humanitarian access. It concludes by reflecting how middle powers employ mediation as an instrument of foreign policy.
